Eaters of Lakewood (EOL) is a group for anyone who loves food and loves Lakewood. The idea is to try a new restaurant, eatery, dinner or takeout in Lakewood once a month. A time and place will be chosen for each event and posted here, along with are many other outlets. We hope EOL will broaden people’s horizons of what there is in Lakewood, and encourage them to try new places. By doing this we will help give our local business the exposure they need while at the same time build community, and make new friends.

EOL was originally a club that started at Lakewood High School as the brain child of Brian Ritschel and Sam DeBaltzo. During finals week their sophomore year they decided to walk down to Chipotle for lunch. As the two walked around the Marc’s Plaza, they discussed the idea of a club for people who like to eat. This idea of an ‘eaters’ club developed and became the group it is today. Still a successful club at the High School, with the blessing of Sam and Brian, we have decided to make the club available to everyone, thus creating the Public Chapter.

Please take some time, look around, and check out our pages on any one of the networking sites. If you are interested in receiving updates on EOL events please click on the “Become an Eater” link to the left and fill out the form. We look forward to hearing from you, and seeing you at our next event.
